With proper direction, my students will be able to gather necessary up-to-date information to collaborate and create their project. Hopefully, they will appreciate the convenience and multiple sources available to help them gather their data. It will be a great opportunity for them to correctly learn how to site sources and combine data from multiple sources.

This module really made me realize how much the internet affects students' learning. To effectively teach children of the 21st century, I must incorporate various internet activities and learning experiences in my classroom. I also learned a great deal about copyright guidelines and how they affect what I do in the classroom.

The internet is a great tool to use for student learning. Personally, I could use the internet more in my classroom. I have the Mac Books in my room and my students love to use them. My students can use the internet for research, enrichment programs, and to assist them in creating projects. Not only will the use of the internet benefit my students, but will benefit me as a classroom teacher.

The interent is a great tool for stduents to gather information for research, however, we must all be careful about the copyright laws.

Students have the world at their fingertips, but we as educators must guide them in using the internet safely. We must monitor their work, the sites they visit and make sure the information they use is cited correctly.

The world is truely at our fingertips!!!

While in the "discovery mode", I realized the importance of setting goals and outlining explicit directions/activities for my students to follow. There is so much available on the internet, I have to guide my students in the right direction to ensure that they meet the goals of the activity. Each small goal leads to the objectives of the whole unit.

This module makes me think about all the different ways my students could use the internet. It is so important that we teach these important skills beginning in the lower grades. I do not need to limit what my students get to do or use just because they are in first grade. There are so many opportunities available and educators need learn how to utilize this powerful tool.
